About Me

Hi, my name is Pamula Ellis Mills, Ph.D. I am a clinical psychologist, who lives in the Washington, DC area, with my three adult daughters and dog.  I work with diverse populations, including individuals with intellectual disabilities and as an adjunct university professor.  I have over 30 years in the field of mental health and am a sought-after motivational speaker and consultant, who believes in empowerment to the path of self-discovery.  I was educated in The Bahamas, Jamaica and the United States.

I have worked senior positions in Government, Mental Health Facilities, and Public Schools.

Through Damara Mental Health and Educational Services, I offer courses and counseling in Crisis, Grief and Bereavement, Individual, Couples,’ Marriage and Family Therapy.
